#5: Kits Beach

It’s beautiful and where the beautiful people go, the place see the views and see the people, and easily the most packed beach in the city on a warm summer day.

#37: Hadden Park

What makes Hadden special? Chiefly, it’s the amount of interesting things packed into a relatively small area.

#48: Tatlow Park

The overall feel is a park that provides a small journey in itself; a relaxing but unsung green space in the city worth checking out.

#58: Vanier Park

It’s set up to be a great park. It should be a great park. And yet, Vanier is a big case of squandered potential.

#61: Connaught Park

It may be similar to a lot of large green spaces in the city, but it all adds up to a park that feels well-used, well-loved, and enjoyed for many different reasons. And isn’t that all one can ask for?

#63: Arbutus Greenway Park

Arbutus Greenway Park is: 1) a real public park, 2) weirdly not actually part of the Arbutus Greenway, and 3) a place that’s definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area and enjoy parks

#109: Almond Park

Almond Park’s location wedged right up against Alma as cars race up the hill between Broadway and 16th provides its biggest strength and weakness.

#117: Volunteer Park

Volunteer Park is easily the best of the Point Grey Road pocket parks, mostly for the fact that it’s simply the biggest, taking up what would be three or four housing lots instead of one or two.

#124: McBride Park

The playground is the real highlight, specifically a spinning climbing apparatus that is fairly unique in the city.

#145: Delamont Park

Aside from the backstory and the shape (essentially two small connected triangles, divided by the Arbutus Greenway as it turns right), Delamont is a fairly normal small park with a basic playground.
