Tisdall is one of the best in south central Vancouver — a sprawling, peaceful park, with plenty of big, leafy trees.

#104: Columbia Park
A 90s playground with plenty of slides and tunnels and bridges is solid for most, and there’s good use of trees and slopes to separate the different parts of the park.
#112: Cambie Park
The impressive thing about the park is you barely hear all the noise from the street with the same name, owing to the very tall redwood trees blocking out the noise.
#135: Langara Golf Course
The course itself is a nice parkland route, its wide fairways and short yardages making it very playable for the average golfer, but multi-level greens giving enough of a challenge for experts.
#188: Montgomery Park
In a city with so many large sports fields, Montgomery Park was for some time the worst.
#198: Shannon Park
But it’s another field next to a school — in this case, the Vancouver Hebrew Academy — that’s meant for baseball and soccer, and little else.
#217: Langara Park
A small strip of grass between Langara College and the parking lot for Langara Golf Course, Langara Park is a pleasant enough space to throw a frisbee or have a picnic in between classes, but little else.
