It’s the best park in southeast Vancouver, probably the best sports-focused park in the city, and certainly the stoutest of Vancouver’s Big Stout Sports Fields.
George Park isn’t going to wow anybody on first impression — but it’s quietly one of the best small inland parks in the city.
Nothing in Sunset Park is groundbreaking. It’s all well executed though, and is the rare inland park south of 41st Avenue in the city that can be said to be a true highlight.
At first glance, Moberley feels like any old Big Field Park in Vancouver with a community centre and washroom. Observe closer though, fair child, and treasures await!
Ross is essentially a “starter pack” of Vancouver parks.
It’s been an unassuming neighbourhood park for decades, but it comes together nicely as a simple place where people of all ages can congregate, so our complaints are minimal.
