When you think of the best family parks in Vancouver, Tecumseh wouldn’t necessarily come to mind, but this smallish park in city’s southeast is popular for a reason.
“I never even knew this little gem was near me and I’ve lived a couple blocks away for almost a year.”
Fraserview is the type of mid-sized park with a playground, field and a walking track surrounding a perimeter that is rarely paid attention to.
Any discussion of Nanaimo Park has to begin with its playground: one of the newer ones in the city, it is excellent for kids around 5-9 or so.
Just go in knowing it’s more of a simple walking trail and less of a full park, and you’ll have a good time.
In short, it may be the least interesting park, acre per acre, in the city.
