#7: Pandora Park

It’s not a destination park, but doesn’t try to be. Pandora is an example of what a great neighbourhood park in 2020 can look like, and we look forward to more renovations like it in the future.

#16: Grandview Park

At the heart of Commercial Drive is a park that beats to the same drum as the neighbourhood: a little bit discordant, but full of heart and intoxicating, authentic energy.

#71: Victoria Park

A big flat park in a medium-density east side neighbourhood, Victoria is essentially the Dude Chilling Park of Grandview-Woodland.

#73: Salsbury Park

“Small park on a steep hill” is not necessarily a recipe for success, and yet Salsbury delivers.

#102: Mosaic Creek Park

Mosaic Creek is about as good as a tiny park can be with no major amenities. We just wish there were more of them.

#103: Woodland Park

There is plenty that is good around Woodland Park, and plenty that could be good inside of it, which is why it’s disappointing to say it doesn’t meet its potential when you consider everything.

#105: Alice Townley Park

Well-designed small parks with character are a relatively rare occurrence in the city, and this is a keeper.

#108: Garden Park

It is essentially the Vancouver Special of parks, both in the fact that it seems like it hasn’t been updated since 1983, and that it’s so well used and beloved that its relative specialness is rather besides the point.

#154: Swingview Park

It’s technically called “Park Site on Trinity Street”, but online it’s called “Swingview Park”, for the very simple reason that there are four swings, and they provide a view.

#166 W.C. Shelley Park

A small but adequate playground for kids around 3 to 6 is in the middle of the park, with garden planters and benches surrounding it.
