#159: Major Matthews Park

The park occupies a former single-family lot on Manitoba just off 11th Avenue, and has a small modern playground good for 3 to 6-year olds.

#214: Triangle Park

A fine space to enjoy a bite to eat, but another area where one wonders why it’s technically a park.

If you live in an apartment nearby, with a small kid, and have minimal expectations? It does its job passably.

#237: Pocket Park

Much of the the city’s Olympic Village is well designed and eagerly celebrated, but there are two pieces of land overseen by the Park Board that are barely parks and hard to spot unless you live in the area.
